EuroDNS, one of the largest registrars in Europe, will acquire the Dutch registrar, Registreerhet, on Nov. 1. EuroDNS, which focuses on geographic domain names, also plans to open new offices in the Netherlands. The company is headquartered in Luxemburg and maintains an office in Korea. |

EuroDNS recently announced that 2.5 million .EU domains had been registered since its launch less than two years ago.
And this time, it’s for real. A previous report of hitting this mark had to be scaled back because some of the initial domains registered during the opening phase of the domain’s public registration period weren’t claimed. |
