The SMX family of conferences grew this week when Search Engine Land announced SMX Search Analytics, debuting March 31 through April 1, 2009.
The goal of the new event line is to teach Internet marketers how to act on gathered statistics to increase ROI on search marketing, as well as how to apply similar analytical methods to activities other than search ads, including offline customer relations management. The agenda is yet to come, and meanwhile the developers are seeking feedback. Click here for more information. According to the Search Marketing Expo website's 'Past Events' page, and not counting the location-targeted events such as West and Matrid, this marks the sixth specialty series to be launched by SMX: Travel, Social Media, Social Media Marketing, Advanced, Local & Mobile, and now Search Analytics.
